JUDO AND GRAPPLING STANDOUT MAKES HER MMA DEBUT

Deshimar Rodriguez has dominated in judo tournaments (35-3), grappling tournaments (37-0) and has been training in Muay Thai since the age of three and this Saturday night she gets to blend it all together in her mixed martial arts debut.   Standing in her way is 2-0 Angie Hoaglin from Tram Relentless in Arkansas.

Rodriguez represents 'The Rodriguez Clan' and comes from a long history of family members who practiced martial arts.  She cross trains at both the UFC Gym Cordova and Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, and to start off her camp she trained for a few weeks in Puerto Rico. When asked about her opponent and MMA debut here is what Rodriguez has to say:

"My opponent is very good and very tough and strong. I want to win this fight to demonstrate who I am. I want it to go all three rounds so everyone can see my skills."
