V3Fights 61 - Tampa, FLorida

main event - billy quarantillo vs eric "That's a wrap" reynolds

Billy Quarantillo and Eric Reynolds are on a collision course for Tampa in what will be a Floridian war of attrition! Both fighters, hailing from the Tampa area, will seek to define their future careers with a win at V3 61, but both men are at different stages of their careers...

At only 28 years of age, Quarantillo is on a two-fight win streak -- the crafty Gracie Tampa South submission artist will try to make it three-in-a-row against Reynolds in his quest to snatch the brass ring of global MMA. Quarantillo started to make a name for himself on The Ultimate Fighter season 22, and although he was ultimately unsuccessful in that crusade, he gained a wealth of experience. Now, the young man has the skills and patience to become one of the greats in this sport, but standing in his way is a dangerous and wily opponent.

Eric "That's A Wrap" Reynolds is the traveling warrior of MMA, having competed all around the world. Starting his professional career back in 2005, Reynolds made the commitment to the cage when he was just 19-years old. Having amassed over a decade of wars under his belt, the Bellator and XFC veteran will move into the second act of his career with a win over the younger Quarantillo. It's been a year-and-a-half since Reynolds stepped inside the confines of a cage, but the layoff -- due to injury -- has only motivated the dangerous striker even further.

On Saturday, August 19, it's Quarantillo, the exciting up-and-comer, versus Reynolds, a dangerous finisher on a mission to end the latter half of his career in the spotlight. Who will emerge victorious? Who will move on to the next rung of the MMA ladder? One thing is for certain: neither man will leave the cage the same way they entered.

the v3fights 61 card

In addition to the exciting main event of Quarantillo vs. Reynolds, V3Fights 61 is loaded with the kind of talent and dynamic match-ups that will surely leave the Florida fans begging for more!

Before the final bout on the card, Hardcore MMA's Rashaun Spencer will go toe-to-toe with the man known as "The Toughest Man in Tampa," Reggie Peña. Peña, a vicious, talented striker and submission artist, is coming back after a two-year layoff. Despite that, "The Regulator" has won five of his last six bouts. Spencer, an eight-year veteran who has fought under the Titan FC and WSOF banners, looks to regain momentum following a two-fight skid. Still, he's the larger and younger man in this affair, so it's anyone's guess as to who will come out on top in Tampa.

Elsewhere on the undercard is the final amateur fight of Danny Durnavich, a military veteran who is just as beloved outside of the cage as he is inside of it. The man dubbed as "Dirty," has only one blemish on his amateur career -- can he take his winning ways into a professional career?

With a stellar mix of professional and amateur bouts, the red-hot Tampa crowd egging on the action, and über-promoter John Prisco staging his unique brand of caged ferocity, you do not want to miss V3Fights 61 on Saturday, August 19! Get your tickets now!
